Welcome to Brain and Mind Matters
At Brain and Mind Matters you will work with Dr Karen Oakley who provides high quality, evidence-based assessments along with intervention and support recommendations for children, adolescents and adults. She takes an individualised, affirming approach to assessment to meet the needs of children, adolescents and their families.
Karen has experience in working with people and their families to explore diagnoses of ADHD, Autism, Specific Learning Disorders (like dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), and Intellectual Disability/Intellectual Developmental Disorder. She also has experience in working with young people with a variety of conditions and brain injuries.
